Principal Bios

Robbyn Fernandez

Robbyn Fernandez, Boulder native and graduate of Boulder High School, has been the principal of Manhattan Middle School since 2009.  She graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon with a B.A. in History and a minor in Spanish.  In addition, she has an M.A. in Teaching ESL and Spanish from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Northern Colorado.  She taught in Costa Rica, Vermont, at the Economics Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder, and BVSD. 

Her hobbies include; reading, theater, travel, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
